About Junior MD
Founder
Rida Mahmood is a licensed Early Childhood Educator in Canada. Having both worked and volunteered in teaching for several years, she realized the disparities in resources, education, and access to healthcare across various socioeconomic demographics. This knowledge, coupled with her passion for medicine and education, led to the inception of Junior MD—a program dedicated to sparking medical curiosity, health advocacy, and the development of healthy habits among eager young learners.
